Holidays at Guest Ranches and Dude Ranches, especially if they are also a working ranch,
can be a very enjoyable and memorable experience! April is calving time, and branding day
in May is always fun! In June we turn the cattle out on pasture, and during the Summer
months we check on them as often as possible. In September we do most of our riding as
we round-up for neighbours and friends and head their cattle towards home. Throughout
the whole year there is endless ranch work like haying, fencing, building gates, tractor
work, etc, and we invite our guests to participate in as many activities as they wish -
or they can sit and relax, watching British Columbia's birds and wildlife from their own
private cabin deck! Have a look at
"The Ranch" page or the
"Things to do" page for more
information on what's available and on our
"Fun Stuff" page there are lots of photos!

These and lots of other photos can be seen on our "Fun Page"

All of our cabins have been inspected and approved by Tourism BC for the BC Accommodation
Guide! Our horses are all kept in top condition all year round and are horses that even
the best cowboy would enjoy riding. We are located 3km west of Highway 97, just south of
100 Mile House. We are both Canadian - born and raised in Canada's west - cowboy country!

The Latest News
Updated April 13th
We are calving now and the snow is almost gone except in the meadows
and in the shade.
Our first calf this year was two calves - that's right twins
- a first for us. Nip and Tuck.

Another first for us was a dead new born. Neither we nor the Mom thought
that this was good so by taking the hide (skinning) off the dead calf and
putting it on a dairy calf we bought, mom was fooled into thinking that it
was hers and was happy to see it come alive! Look carefully at the photo and
you can see the new "coat" over top and the bale strings that hoild it on.
